A group of unlikely allies are assembled to go on an expedition deep within the Amazon forest in search of new discoveries. They find more than what they were initially looking for, but are unable to find a way off the mysterious plateau to bring the evidence back home to London. They befriend a long time inhabitant of the plateau, and together, search for a way back home.
