Tamás is a successful young filmdirector, his dream is directing a feature film with a story written by him a long time ago. He sends the story to a couple of producers in the U. S. Hoping that the „Eastern European idyll” might attrack the attention of one of them. He actually does receive answer from one, namely Alex Brubeck who thinks to take this chance to look around for the first time in the politically and economicly new Hungary. He decides not to reveal his Hungarian origin. He has heard so much about visiting ex-Hungarians being tapped for money that he hopes pretending himself to being „real” American might guarantee him more respect. The comedy of errors begins.
