In Love with Life

Abandoned by her husband, whom she had married against her parent''s wishes, Sharon Applegate (Lila Lee) is forced by poverty to leave her son Laurie (Dickie Moore) with her father Mr. Morley (Claude Gillingwater). Angered by his daughter''s elopement, Morley - a rich but surly, sour and ill-tempered man - agrees to keep Laurie on the condition that Sharon will keep away from him.
