Australia 1814. Brothers Billy and Jack Kelly enlist and are shipped out to serve with the diggers in Europe. From the trenches of Gallipoli, across the Western Front the brave boys fight on, while at home the Kelly family is torn apart by drought and deadly bushrangers. When the boys return home, they find themselves facing another battle, not for freedom, but for the lives of the ones they love.
