Set in the early 18th Century, Mr. Malcolm is the most eligible bachelor in all of England. Inundated with female suitors, he writes a list of qualities desired for his future wife. When the beautiful Julia (Zawe Ashton) has her advances spurned she enlists the help of her dearest friend Seline (Frieda Pinto) to exact revenge against the arrogant Mr. Malcolm for publicly humiliating her.
